We believe in:|
Community - our customers are our friends and should be treated as such. Your support makes our work possible and we do our best to live up to that faith.
Quality - we check our antique vintage findings for flaws and scrub away the crud of time before we use the piece in our work. We may embed rusted items inside a collage for art purposes but we will never expose you to them; darkened pieces used in exposed work will be ones on which we have created a patina.
Value - we work to create unique and beautiful pieces that are worth the price you pay. Many of our pieces take days to make - some take repeated applications of resin in the collage process over a period of weeks and months. We will state up front if a piece is not one of a kind.
Reliability - if there turns out to be a flaw in a chain link, we will replace the chain, if there turns out to be resin that's crept into a pin catch mechanism, we will replace the piece or refund the money. We work to catch flaws before anyone ever sees them (our "fail jars" are developing an interesting range with time) but if one gets past us, let us know and we'll make it right.
"We?" - when I say we about creating pieces, I mean me - everything is hand done by me from resin pours to patina work, painting, collage setup and so forth. But I have a wonderful support group including my husband who helps with getting parcels to the post, gallery and shop friends who host my work, and friends who help man our trunk shows so we is appropriate too, to give thanks for the grace and helping hands of my friends and family, and I'm in the habit of thinking of us as we. :)
